Ireland government scholarships are recently launched for students in India wishing to pursue undergraduate/post-graduate degrees in reputed Irish institutes. The scholarship amount marked for Indian students is 12,00,000 Euros and that for Sri Lankan students is 3,00,000 Lakh Euros. A virtual showcase will also be held on Saturday, 27th February from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm (IST).
What happens in Education in Ireland Virtual Showcase?
In the virtual showcase the students interested in pursuing UG/PG degree from Ireland can:
- Meet privately with Irish universities and colleges.
- Chat via text, audio, and video calls from phone or desktop.
- Attend detailed seminars and info sessions on studying in Ireland.
- Get advice from official Irish representatives.
- Learn about scholarships and have the visa process explained.
Giles O’Neill, Director of Education in Ireland said, “There are various choices with regards to scholarships. Firstly, the higher education institutes of Ireland themselves are offering merit-based scholarships. Besides, Education in Ireland, as a national brand, will be giving scholarships to 10 Indian students on the day of the showcase”
The primary points that will be covered in the virtual showcase are:
- Understanding the career and educational opportunities in Ireland
- Navigating the decision-making process through a chat with the education agents
- A panel discussion with Indian students in Ireland
- The VISA process
